I remember my first day in court. In fact, it wasn't funny. I just got to the office that day and got a file from my principal to move a motion on notice at the High Court. I was so nervous in court as i waited patiently for the matter to be called up.Being a junior counsel, i had to wait for the senior wigs to mention their matters out of turn( that seemed to be the tradition in that jurisdiction as a mark of respect for the senior lawyers). when the matter was finally called up, I moved the motion as well as i could .(I had listened to others move motions before then)
You know what? I was proud of myself after the experiece and it kind of boosted my confidence.
