A call to prosecute the Anambra Resident Electoral Commissioner.

 Still on the Anambara just concluded governorship election.
 A petition has been sent by the  All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Attahiru Jega head of the electoral commission,  for the prosecution of the Anambra Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Chukwuemeka Onukogu and the cancellation of the Anambra state elections  .

 According to Vanguard, APC sent a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) requesting   for the discontinuance of the  planned supplementary polls, and a conducting a new elections.

 The  party complained said that voters in their candidate’s (Senator Chris Ngige)  stronghold, were disenfranchised,

APC also pointed out that the commission had the power  to reject the results and order for fresh elections.
